As a resident and business owner in Baker County since 1985, it has been brought to my
attention that Baker County and Duval County Westside residents need to
take immediate, urgent action now to protect their air, livestock, pets, crops, and water
because a bio-hazardous medical waste incinerator company is trying to get permission, from Baker County commissioners, to
build its facility just one or two air miles from most public schools in the City of Macclenny. This facility will burn bio hazardous
waste at a rate of up to 60 tons PER DAY! Summarizing Dr. Paul Connett, as he explains in his video you
can watch, incinerators burn hazardous waste which is mostly
plastics, and this sends out a toxic fog that includes cancer-causing dioxin, mercury,
lead, and many more. As you inhale these toxic nano-particles, which cannot be filtered
out, they go deep into your lungs and cross the membranes into your bloodstream, then
they travel to reside in any organ in your body, including the brain of you, your children
and animals. These particles also contaminate food, water and land. Your body retains these dioxins
forever. These nano-particles are so small, they linger for a long time in the air -
sending contaminants up to 25 miles in any direction, and most importantly, nano-particles
are not regulated by any agency in the world! Most incineraters have been closed and
banned across the United States for these reasons, so all Baker County and
Duval County Westside residents need to call, write, and email the Baker County
Commissioners linked on our website, and tell them to vote No and BAN toxic incinerators!
