1. Entrants must be a legal resident of the
United States and of eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Entrants agree to be bound to these contest rules.
2. Employees of WJXR Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, clients,
and members of each of their immediate families (spouses, parents,
children, and siblings, and their respective spouses) and friends,
acquaintances, associates, or those living in the household of
each such individuals, are not eligible to enter, play, or win.
3. Only one prize may be won per person and/or buyer number per
thirty (30) days. Prizes are nontransferable and may not be
exchanged or redeemed
for cash. If the advertised prize is unavailable for any reason, WJXR Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All prizes are awarded "as is." The winners are
responsible for any and all applicable taxes, license fees, tariffs,
duties, and other fees. Winners may also be required to complete and
return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity
Release. Prizes must be picked up within seven (7) days. Winners may
win as often as possible only at remote broadcasts and in the bumper sticker contest.
4. Entrants agree to indemnify and
release WJXR Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, and related
companies and each of their respective officers, directors,
employees and agents from any and all liability, loss or damage of
any kind arising out of or in connection with entrants participation
in the contest, or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession,
use and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the contest
or in prize-related activities.
5. In the event that a sponsor fails to deliver the prizes, the
station cannot be held responsible and has no obligations whatsoever
to the winners.
6. All information obtained and all registration materials,
such as entry blanks and forms, shall become the property of WJXR
Inc.
7. By entering a contest, entrants consent to allow WJXR Inc. to
use their name and likeness for advertising purposes without
limitation and without additional compensation, except where
prohibited by law. 8. As a condition of winning, contest winners
agree not to represent, or appear in an advertisement for any other
radio station. Winners also agree not to make any public comments
regarding their participation in any contest without prior written
consent.
9. WJXR Inc., it subsidiaries,
affiliates, franchises, and agents are not responsible for any
computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions, delays or
human errors that occur in the processing, transmission or receipt
of entries, or for inaccurate transcription of entry information, or
for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, lost or delayed
by computer transmissions, or if for any reason, the contest is not
capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to
infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized
intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the
control of WJXR, Inc. If the contest cannot continue due to
mechanical or technical failure, all entries collected prior to such
failure will be tallied, and winners will be randomly selected from
those entries.
10. No prize shall be awarded to a winner until all restock fees,
orders, bills, or other debts owed to the station by the winner are paid in
full. In the event of a cash or store credit prize, the station will deduct
the appropriate amount from the winnings. If the winner does not pay all
outstanding debts within seven (7) days, then any and all winnings or prizes
will be forfeited.
11. The station reserves the right to:
- End the contest at any time
without advanced notice.
- Amend or alter these rules
at any time with or without advanced notice.
- Limit the number of entries allowed per person.
12. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win by fraud,
deception, or cheating shall be grounds for WJXR to disqualify that
individual from participating in Midnight Madness, in addition to
all current and future contests and events, at the sole discretion
of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by
fraudulent means.
13. In the event of any dispute, the decision of WJXR Inc. will be final.

enter, play, or win. The contest begins on or about December 5, 2003 and ends
December 24, 2003. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms set forth
in these Official Rules.
2. TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. Entrants must complete
the registration form by providing all requested information. The

Only one entry per individual and/or buyer number is allowed per
day. Persons attempting to win the contest by fraud, deception, or
cheating, or found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this
contest, as solely determined by WJXR Inc., shall be grounds for
immediate disqualification of that individual from the contest, in
addition to disqualification from all current and future contests
and events, at the sole discretion of WJXR Inc., as well as
forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
By entering this contest, entrants consent to allow WJXR Inc. to

those entries. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or
inaccurate entry information whether caused by the entrants or by
any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in
the contest or by any technical or human error that may occur in the
processing of the entries in the contest.
4. DRAWING: A random drawing for the prize winner(s) will
be conducted, from among all eligible entries received, on or about
December 24, 2003. The drawing will be conducted by WJXR Inc., whose
decisions are final on all matters regarding this contest. The odds
of winning depend on the total number of entries received prior to
the drawing. The winner(s) will be announced on the radio (92.1 FM).
PRIZES (1): Scooter, similar to those viewed at our
Confederate Point Road location.
5. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: Limit one prize per person during
entire promotional period. Prizes are not transferable. All prizes
are awarded "as is." No
substitution or cash redemption allowed except by WJXR Inc., who may
substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize
becomes unavailable. Prizes must be claimed within one (1) month of
acceptance, or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Taxes on
prizes are sole responsibility of winners, who will be issued an IRS
1099 tax form (where required). Winners will be required to sign and
return Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Publicity Release
(where permitted) within fourteen (14) days of notification or
prizes may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If a
prize is not picked up, the corresponding prize will be awarded to
an alternate winner.
6. WINNER LIST: To obtain a list containing the winners of
this contest after the drawing is held, you may send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to
WJXR Scooter Contest Winners, P.O. Box 1, Jacksonville, Florida
32234, which must be received no later than December 31, 2003.
