Announcer
| Job Availability: |
This job currently has a few part-time openings available

| Requirements: |
18+ years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule
Preferred sales/broadcasting experience

| What is expected: |
Announcers must be highly motivated people,
able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining their
composure and audience. Announcers act as salespeople and engage
listeners with The Bargain Channel® Program. Individual
shows may last anywhere between 4 and 10 hours. Good vocal stamina
is a must! If called on after an interview, applicants for announcing
positions will be required to drive to WJXR studios, in Macclenny,
Florida, for a "test run". If hired, the job will require you to
drive to the studios for each show.
Merchandise hosts (companions to the announcers) follow the same
basic requirements as the announcers, but may work out of the studios
or the Westside office.

Board Operator

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule

| What is expected: |
Competency with electrical components and familiarity
with customer service is a must. A board operator's duties vary
from cueing commercials to answering buyer lines to airing news,
traffic, sports, and church programming. Previous experience would
be a plus, but training is provided. This job is based at the
WJXR studios in Macclenny, Florida.

Cashier

High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule
Good math skills
Preferred customer service/cashiering experience

| What is expected: |
Cashiers interact with both listeners and hosts.
They must be cordial and efficient in their daily duties, and maintain
problem-solving skills. Applicants, if hired, will have three
convenient cashiering locations to choose from, based on availability:
Macclenny, Westside (Jacksonville), and Southside (Jacksonville).
Certain cashiering responsibilities may require driving to separate
locations.

Sales

Reliable transportation
Preferred sales/telemarketing experience

| What is expected: |
Salespersons are expected to find new clientele
for advertising or trades with The Bargain Channel®.
Sales pay is based on commissions: the more you sell, the more you
earn. Certain incentives may be implemented with annual bonuses.
